Backyard Bachelorette

While 2020 has been a tough year (to say the very least) there are a few things we have come to appreciate. One of those is a backyard get-together. Birthday parties, anniversaries, baby showers and so many more events have still been celebrated through outdoor picnics or even a drive by parade.

Recently, we celebrated a bride-to-be by throwing a backyard bachelorette party, and it was just as much, if not more fun, than any Vegas bachelorette party we’ve ever been on. How did we pull off such a fun event? Well for starters, it was a PAJAMA PARTY. Anywhere you don’t have to dress up for is a win in our book. The guests all wore MASONgrey and if you weren’t planning on doing this for your next event, you should reconsider!

Okay, now for all the details. The group was kept quite small, for obvious reasons, but an intimate group was just what the bride wanted anyway. Next, we chose a “theme” which was basically just bohemian and blush tones (not sure if you can consider that a theme, but it was beautiful!) The evening featured several charcuterie boards so that not too many people were surrounding one, Mendocino farms delivery, wine, lots of games, wine and dessert…Did we say wine?

The dessert table served as delicious décor, which is usually the point, right? There was a handmade donut wall, individually packed s’mores kits, and a cake from crumbles with the bride’s new initial.

Overall, the evening was a hit and the bride was so happy! The whole night was picture perfect, or as we’d say nowadays, “Instagram worthy.”
